Michelle White and Justin Smith are happy to announce their marriage that took place on October 21, 2006 at Bethal Pentecostal Church.  Michelle is the daughter of Norman White and Marion Veenstra and Justin is the son of Wendy Smith.

With a small delay due to forgotten rings by the Maid of Honor (isn’t that the best man’s job?) the happy couple were joined in marriage in a beautiful ceremony performed by Paster Greg.

Standing with the happy couple were Crystal Lovegrove, Maid of Honor and  Best Man Bill Rabideau.  In the bridal party were bridesmaids Teresa Massy, Jennifer Hamelin, Jocelynn Maxwell and Jr Bridgesmaid Emily Wasson.  Michelle’s Flower Girl was Autmn Ray Wasson.  The Groomsman in the wedding party was Ron Wasson, Jason Smith, Rich Wasson and Ring Bearer Ethan Wasson.

During a very emotional exchanging of the vows, tears of joy and happiness could be seen from the many family and friends that witnessed the special occasion.  To lighten the occasion after the “I do’s” and “now I pronounce you husband and wife, and “you may kiss your bride”,   the bride playfully reached down and gave her new hubby a gentle squeeze on his derriere to the delight and laughter of the congregation!

After the ceremony the happy couple received family and friends at the Village Inn where they enjoyed a fabulous dinner.  After dinner a slide show created by Maid of Honour Crystal Lovegrove  (redeeming herself from earlier in the day) of past memories that everyone enjoyed and that will always be fondly remembered.  Another funny moment during the speeches was when the Mother of the Groom, Wendy Smith called her son’s bride by his sister’s name that brought a red face to Mom and laughter from the crowd, especially the bride!

To end the evening with a final dance Michelle dedicated her favourite song to Justin called “My Destiny” sung by Katherine McPhee (American Idol finalist)

The Happy Couple celebrated their marriage with a honeymoon to Cancun Mexico.

Best Wishes and Congratulations!
