Lighting for your Wedding

Lighting can set the mood and look of your event.  Setting the right light can add to your decorating setting.  Look at the room that you will be using.  If it is an afternoon wedding is the room bright enough?  Or is it too bright, will you need shades on the windows? For evening weddings can the lights be dimmed or is their enough lighting?


If your getting married outside during the day will the sun be a factor?  Will your guest be looking into the sun or is there enough shade that the sun won't be a factor.
 

Lighting will turn your ordinary event into an extraordinary event!
Uplighting

Painting a room with light is another way to add a magical background to your decor.  The effect is created by placing lights on the ground facing the wall or element of the room that you would like to illuminate.  Different effects can be created using Uplighting.  A beam of light to focus on a particular area or a spread of light to soften a backdrop.  Also Uplighting is another way to add colour to your occasion.

Under Table Lighting
Using white linens and adding lights under the table can enhance a head table, cake table or even a bar area.

When creating your budget think about lighting.  Lighting not only works well during the event but it allows your flowers and other decorations shine later in the evening.  When the lights are dimmed for the reception party it will be the lights that the guest will always notice most.
