I LOVE SHOES!

Ok Ladies, I'm about to tell you a little personal information about myself.  I love to collect two things.  Barbie Dolls and SHOES!

I have approximately 1,000,000,000 pairs of shoes (only kidding but the number is high) in my collection that includes many different styles and colours.   I feel your shoes "completes you" when coordinating your outfit.  My absolute favourite is sexy high heals. (3" or higher")  A high heal will elongate your leg and narrow your ankles and make you look slimmer.
Sometimes if I see a great pair of shoes I'll buy them first then create my outfit around them.  (you can do that too - give me a call!)

Warning!!  High heals are not for everyone.  If you have problems with your feet or knees, back etc,  be sensible and wear the proper footwear to ensure that you do not injure yourself.  If you have problems with wearing heals there are other options for you. Try wearing a smaller 1 or 2 inch heal.  A narrow toe will help draw the line down and elongate your leg your leg as well.  Even wearing flats can be flattering as well especially with pants.

I love to coordinate my shoes with my outfits.  Either matching the colour and style with an outfit or giving a "pop" of colour to the ensemble.

For your wedding comfort is a must!  Buy your shoes early to "break them in".  You will be on your feet for a long time so you want the most comfortable shoes you can find.  Having a spare pair handy is always a good idea.  As the saying goes  "Change is as good as a rest" -  this applies to shoes too!

Also remember to take your shoes with you for your dress fitting to be sure you have your dress hemmed to the proper length.

Have fun with shoes.  If you can't find what you are looking for be creative.  Buy a simple pair and add adornments to it.  Simply glue or sew adornments such as rhinestone buckles  (check with your florist, they may have some on hand), pearls, sequins, fabric flowers etc.

Another new trend is for the bride to wear her shoes in the colour of her brides maids dresses.  For the most part you won't see your shoes anyway and this is a fun way to express yourself.   Navy, reds, purples are all great examples and a great way for the bride to tie in her wedding colours with her outfit.

Are you having pictures taken on the beach or in the grass?  Buy simple white flip flops - add a touch of "glamour" and you're good to go. Even if you are wearing high heels for the wedding you should wear flip flops or wedged heel for pictures in the grass or on the beach to save your heels from becoming damaged or dirty.

At the end of the day when coordinating the outfit remember IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SHOES!
