The
Guest List
The Bride should work with you on the guest list. If she is
having multiple showers she can help you out so that you are not
inviting the same guest to each one. If it is a surprise shower
contact the bride’s family to help you out.
Invitations
Invitations should be sent out at least 3 – 4 weeks prior to the
event. Be sure to include all the pertinent information and
also include the locations for any wedding registries that the
Bride to be may have set up. This information will be very
helpful to your guest when deciding what to purchase for the
day.
Ask for
a RSVP. This is important information when purchasing food,
favours, prizes etc.
Or if your invited guests are close family and friends, just ask
them if they'll be there.
If you have reservations for a restaurant however, the RSVP
becomes very important. If guests haven't responded to your RSVP
request, go ahead and give them a courtesy call so you can
confirm reservations and make arrangements for the correct
number of guests.
When writing
the invitations, don’t forget to include any special
instructions, if there are any, for the Bridal Shower theme or
items to bring for the Bridal Shower games etc.
