Susan originally from Tillsonburg has lived in the
Forest area for 8 years with her husband Thom and she
has 2 children, Adam and Andy and a granddaughter
(Hadlee Skie)
In September of 2008 Susan
purchased the Elite Dance Academy located at 785 Exmouth
St, Suite #203 in Sarnia. (Upstairs from the Carpet
Superstore and beside Tim Horton's) The
opportunity came and Susan thought it was meant to be.
She knew the previous owner and was confident that it
was a good business to purchase. Susan handles the
administration side of the business which she finds easy
with her 35 years working in the accounting field.
Elite Damce Academy employs "four
phenomenal instructors" along with 3 junior instructors.
Each of the instructors are experts in their own dance
disciplines. Elite Dance Academy also has 5
competitive teams 4 hip hop and 1 tap starting at ages 9
up to young adults. Classes also include

Latin, belly dance, ballet, kinder ballet, jazz, cardio

The Elite Dance Academy has 2 studios and a private
waiting area where parents and other family members can
sit back and relax while waiting. The studios is
also available for rent for private classes or special
events.
The Wedding Dance
Ballroom Dance is a popular class for Bride and Grooms
and the whole wedding party and parents.
Today, choreograph first dances are very trendy and at
Elite they can instruct the whole Wedding Party.
You tell them what you want and they can take it from
there and create a fun choreographed dance for you.
Elite Dance Academy also can provide fun "girls
night out" for bachorlette parties. Private parties with dance
lessons in belly dancing, hip hop or latin can make it a fun night
complete with props. A special gift basket full of goodies is
provided to the bride at her special party.
Elite Dance Academy is looking to expand
in the future with the addition of daytime programs, senior programs
and at the end of January a brand new program call "kindermusick"
for infants and moms will begin. Also Susan is looking forward
to sponsoring one of her own instructors in the upcoming "Dancing
with the Stars" competition.
Susan is very excited about the future and is willing to try new
