Corinne Schieman

Corinne Schieman nee "Pickett" grew up in Point Edward and is very proud of that fact.  Today Corinne is living in Corunna and has been married to Paul Schieman for 25 years.  Together they have children 3 sons and a daughter ages ranging today from 17 to 23.

While her children were young Corinne was a stay home Mom before she entered into the business world 8 years ago. Her love of art grew at an early age and continued to grow giving her a solid background in the world of art.  "Artopia" started as a partnership but today Corinne is the sole owner and is currently located at 276 Wellington Street.  On January 1 Artopia will have a new home "with more space" located downtown at 136 Christina Street.

The major component of the business at Artopia is framing.  Corinne can frame anything!  From prints to custom work.  She has framed for local artist including photojournalist Glenn Ogilvie and for others such as as world renown photographer Keiron Nelson who's work has been featured in the National Geographic magazine.

Even though framing is the major part of her business Corinne works for corporate and with Interior Decorators.  In her store she also sells home decor art pieces, custom pottery, jewelry and glass and much more.

For the bride to be Corinne can help you select and customize your glassware, pottery and framing. For you wedding photos you will want quality preservation framing for ever lasting images.  Artopia also offers a bridal registry!

Visit Corinne at 276 Wellington St. Sarnia (across from SCITS) - hours of business Monday - Saturday 10:00am - 5:30pm. After January 1 visit Corinne at her new store location at 136 Christina St.
