Hello! My name is Pat
Brethauer and I am married to hubby Karl and
together we have three grown children.
(Matthew, Andrew and April) During
their younger years I was a stay home mom
that worked occasionally and part time doing
"books" for businesses. To keep busy
(with the kids) I got very involved with
Scouting and other volunteer projects.
After the kids went off
to school I dabbled in a couple of "online"
businesses. (Thanks to my boys for
teaching me all I needed to know) My
first online venture was
www.sarniasports.com which I still
continue to do today. After that I
created
www.sarniaweddings.com . After several
years of being an online business for
wedding planning I took the next step - or
should say took a giant leap and opened my
own store.
My first location was on
London Rd. that turned out not to be the
greatest, so when I found the location in
Northgate I took the chance and moved there
and officially opened in September 2009.
With the new move my
store took on a "theme".
First comes love...........

I always loved working
with flowers and went back to school and
became a "certified floral designer". Sarnia
Weddings now offers flowers for all
occasions. (not just weddings).
Sarnia Weddings also has a selection of
unique gifts.
Then comes marriage.........

The original concept of
the store was a wedding planning and
information centre. I offer a free wedding
planner (an 8 1/2 by 11 binder that is
loaded with lots of local information and of
course a wedding planner with tips and
advice that will help the bride to be plan
their own wedding.
Then
comes baby in a baby carriage........

This completes the
triangle. The baby division started
after shopping with my Niece Stacy Barill.
The picture you see in my logo is a picture
of her son. (he's a cutie eh?) :)
In the Baby section I will be on the lookout
for wonderful selection of baby clothing and
gifts! I'll keep you up to date with
"'new arrivals" each month in the Sarnia
Weddings Babies Newsletter.
Welcome to my
world I hope you enjoy our upcoming series
of Newsletters. Your comments and
suggestions are most welcomed! |
