Did you know
that there are currently NO regulations that
BAN the toxins that Little Soles Inc. is
testing for? Shoes DO end up in
little mouths... |
Little Soles. Urban
Class Footwear for
Children
“There are currently NO regulations that ban the
toxins that Little Soles Inc. is testing for. The CPSIA
just recently started enforcing a lead reduction however
they are still allowing 300ppm in footwear. We all know
that lead can pose a threat to our children. We have
seen this in the media through a series of toy
scandals. My objective has been to raise awareness
about the lack of enforcement on these toxins and the
importance of safety when purchasing products for our
children, especially when we know there will be direct
skin contact. I feel that by speaking publicly about
this issue and offering footwear that surpasses the
standards we are setting an important example for other
manufactures, in hopes they will follow suit.
I
believe we as company owners all have the ability to
effect positive change in our own industries.”
